Olivia Anne Butler, 10, of Savannah, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014. Olivia was an angel who walked the earth. Olivia affected every person with whom she came in contact. Dear Jeff & Rita: I know the pain you currently feel at the loss of your dear child, Olivia. No words are sufficient to describe it. Only time will ease the agony of this dear one's departure. We love you and are praying for you. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.” Revelation 14: 13

I got to know Olivia through a girls yoga class that I have been teaching at Ganesha's Place Therapeutic Yoga Studio. She and her mom came every week, more or less to join several other girls ages 7-11 in an after school yoga class, where they participated in yoga poses, mediation and quiet time, singing, games and connection. Olivia's light was so bright, despite not being able to speak, and the other girls in the class welcomed her and took her in as one of their own. The word 'yoga' means Union, and Olivia has taught me more about this than I could ever teach her, I'm sure. I am honored and privileged to have known and worked with her. Thank you, Faye, for introducing Olivia to the yoga community, to Ganesha's Place, and to me. I am forever grateful. SHE WILL SHINE ON!!!!!

There are alot of hearts hurting, but so,so many people who count themselves lucky just by knowing Olivia. She had a contagious way of flooding your heart with joy and laughter, those eyes would suck you in,if not the eyes the smile would surely get you each and every time.I sit now and smile at how she'd snatch my potato chips and look at me as if to say,you have more,no big deal and she was on to the next adventure.Olivia you will truly be missed, you're already missed, your absence is felt by those who haven't seen you for months.I picture you now as an ANGEL in heaven, with colorful puzzle patterned wings,a truly special girl, with truly special wings. You flew around spreading love in our hearts like a fairy spreading pixie dust, and you will forever be in our hearts and contagiously in our spirit. Thanks Olivia .................
